Nude Worship Offends People Who Don't Attend That Church

At White Tail Chapel in Ivor, Virginia, the Lord isn’t the only thing imaginary. So are the parishioners’ new clothes.

Part of the White Tail Nudist Resort, a family-oriented year-round nudist colony, the chapel is also clothing-optional.

For some reason, permitting nudity in a chapel on a nudist resort is newsworthy. Warning: Follow this link at your peril; naked news video! (May or may not be safe for work.)

Commenters on the local news station’s website, many of whom apparently couldn’t figure out that the chapel is part of a nudist resort, are in a tizzy.

Just because something is permissable, does not mean it is the right thing to do. This nudist chucrh is totally abnormal and going against the norms of our society. What in the world can be accomplished by going to church nude and what if someone wants to visit the church and are confronted with nude people. The Bible says stay away from the appearence of evil and be carfeul not to offend, this is deeply offensive. These are not Christians, they are a cult and I am sure if you dig deeper, you will find stranger things going on. What about the children?? Are they exposed to this lunacy? If they are they all need to go to jail for child endangerment.

I am a Christian and am appalled that this church is teaching it’s okay to come to church naked, did they not forget that once Eve ate the apple in the Garden of Eden they’re nakedness was exposed, you are promoting sexual temptation the word specifically states that a woman should be modest in her dress and that looking upon a woman in a lustful way is sin, if that is the case you all are setting yourselves up for adultery, affairs, and God knows what else in your church, and what about all the child molesters running around out there, this is a perfect opportunity for them to prey on children there, I’m sorry but this church is SEVERELY deceived by the enemy, I mean at a church I used to go to they had to put restrictions on the dress codes for the teenagers in the youth group because of the problems it was causing, this is very weird

  1. Why would these seemingly fun loving nudists want to waste their time with something as dull, cruel and oppressive as Christianity?

  2. "These are not Christians, they are a cult … Christianity is a CULT. By it's own definition Christianity IS A CULT and is disgusting and abnormal. Please stay away from everyone! Your not worthy of my attention…

  3. I see nothing abnormal about this. God knows exactly what you look like. I think it is awful how many people "dress up" for church just to show how wealthy they are. With everyone being nude, there is no problem. And it was not Eve's nakedness that was a problem. The problem was that she obtained knowledge, and consequently judgment that belonged only to God. And by the way, Christianity is definitely not a cult. There are some outlandish Christian views that often make it appear that way, but it is not.
