The “wine and bread” ingestion is about internalizing the historical Jesus, not about a sacrament or a blessing. The historical Jesus was a magician as well as a leader and teacher. Obviously, the historical Jesus would be pissing himself if he knew this teaching tool and object relation mechanism was used for silencing and control. The fancy dress with the ridiculous hat just reinforces the malignant absurdity.

Did he really say that the health bill including funding for abortions was an issue? Because as far as I know it never did, and in fact there was already a bill on the books prohibiting the use of federal funds for abortions, *and* now a redundant amendment to the bill apparently to appease stupid people.
