Featured Video: Exorcism of Homosexual Demon
In this video, CNN interviews Patricia McKinney of Manifested Glory Ministries, the cult responsible for the “exorcism” of a 16-year-old with a “homosexual demon”.
McKinney informs Rick Sanchez that everything wrong with a person is caused by a “spirit”. As she says,
Everything carries a spirit. It’s not just the homosexual spirit. You have the alcohol spirit, you have the crack cocaine spirit, you have the adultery spirit. Everything carries a spirit. It could be a good spirit. It could be a bad spirit.
That’s right, everything you do is the result of “spirits”, not your own choices. You don’t choose to drink alcohol or commit adultery; the spirits make you do it.
At least McKinney offers an explanation for her bizarre beliefs:
I am a recovering addict. I am a recovering crackhead and a heroin addict, and I knew that I was under the power of a demonic force that caused me to use crack cocaine, that caused me to use heroin.
She doesn’t want to accept responsibility for herself, so has created a whole belief system to spare her from guilt. It’s the demons!
