Easter Bunny Brings Satan's Communion

Chocolate bunnies and colored eggs. Satan’s Communion, every Easter Sunday! Will you and your children be participating in demonic rituals celebrating Molech and Baal, or will you turn your eyes to God this year?

Easter. For many, it conjures images of a basket-toting rabbit bearing chocolate bunnies. The White House hosts an Easter Egg hunt, as do many churches. What’s wrong with that? It’s a celebration of spring, and fertility, and . . . Yes, fertility. I’ll bet you didn’t know Jesus was a fertility god, did you?

What’s that you say? He’s not?

Then why are you worshiping rabbits — an unclean animal, consumption of which is abomination to God — and hunting for colored eggs on the celebration of His Resurrection?

Catholics, that’s why!

Huh?

Yes, Catholics. The inheritors of the Babylonian religion, who have perverted every aspect of Christianity with the ways of Nimrod and Semiramis (Ishtar)!

Satan has found a very clever way of perverting Christianity . . . He used the Catholic cult to inject his own rituals — those directed at any number of false gods, and even a false Savior — into Christian worship! Think about it . . . Whenever you idolize the Easter bunny, or trade eggs, or even fast at Lent, you are worshipping Satan!

An Abbreviated History of Easter:

In the early days of Christianity, Christians observed the Passover. In fact, there is no reference to an annual celebration of Jesus’ resurrection in the Bible, but instead the continuing celebration of Passover! So where did Easter come from? And when?

Well, until the third century A.D., Passover was celebrated. As the Church became dominated by Gentiles, they desired not to celebrate with the Jews. So, the designation of a particular single-day holiday became more important. In the early fourth century (First Council of Nicea, in 325 A.D.), it was more firmly established that a single-Sunday celebration would be held, dismissing the Passover commanded in the Bible entirely!

Indeed, the Catholic cult took one of many steps on its path of putting the traditions of men above the commandments of God. How many Christian churches do you see celebrating Passover? Not yours, eh? Yet the Bible commands it!

It’s not hard to see that, once this step was taken, Catholics rapidly slid down a slippery slope toward worship of fertility goddesses and false messiahs!

A Tale of Two Wascally Wabbits

There are two sets of stories surrounding the origin of the Easter Bunny and Easter eggs. Neither has anything to do with the Resurrection of Jesus, and each stems from hatred of God and the worship of false goddesses!

The more commonly-believed version, distributed by neo-pagans everywhere, The Second (or Later) Wabbit:

It is believed that the Anglo-Saxon people worshipped a fertility goddess named Eostre or Ostara. This goddess had as her symbol the rabbit (after all, they reproduce like rabbits . . . appropriate symbol for a fertility goddess!) and the egg (new life, birds come from eggs). Does the name sound familiar? Like Easter? And also like Estrogen?

The etymology of the name is traced to Bede the Venerable, a Catholic historian.

The English and German names, “Easter” and “Ostern,” are not etymologically derived from Pesach [Passover] and according to the 8th century Christian monk and historian Bede are instead related to ancient name for the Anglo Saxon goddess, Eostre, who was celebrated during Eosturmonath, equivalent to April/Aprilis. Bede wrote in Latin:

“Eosturmonath, qui nunc paschalis mensis interpretatur, quondam a dea illorum quae Eostre vocabatur et cui in illo festa celebrabant nomen habuit.”

Translated: “Eosturmonath, which is now interpreted as the paschal month, was formerly named after the goddess Eostre, and has given its name to the festival.”

When the Catholics (under the Holy Roman Empire) began conquering assorted northern peoples and converting them to their already-polluted mutilation of Christianity, they decided that encouraging the heathens to join up and buy in to their cult was more important than teaching Christ’s Truth. So, Pope Gregory I suggested to missionaries that they allow the heathens to retain and incorporate their traditions!

English historian Bede’s Historia ecclesiastica gentis Anglorum (“Ecclesiastic History of the English People”) contains a letter from Pope Gregory I to Saint Mellitus, who was then on his way to England to conduct missionary work among the pagan Anglo-Saxons. Pope Gregory suggested that converting heathens would go easier if they were allowed to retain the outward forms of their traditional pagan practices and traditions, while recasting those traditions spiritually towards the Christian God instead of to their pagan “devils”:

. . . to the end that, whilst some gratifications are outwardly permitted them, they may the more easily consent to the inward consolations of the grace of God.

The full text of the letter can be found here. Note: This same reference was removed from WikiPedia’s article on Easter within the last 24 hours (when this article was written in 2009 – MD); following this vandalism (presumably by Satanic Bunnyists or Catholics), WikiPedia has frozen edits to the article until April 12 (2009 – MD).

The message of Gregory? Gain their obedience to the Catholic Cult, regardless of how watered-down or damaged the message of Jesus becomes in the process! Let the traditions of men take precedence over the commandments of God!

What has God to say about that idea?

As Jesus, He spoke to the Pharisees, but it seems also to the Catholic Cult:

Matthew 15: 7-9

7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Gregory I was Pope from 590 til his death in 604. As you recall from above (First Council of Nicea, 325), he was following long-standing Catholic Cult tradition of incorporating pagan “traditions of men” and ignoring the commandments of God whenver it was expedient.

The First (or Earlier) Wabbit:

The other, less-followed origin of The Bunny of Satan can be found in the Babylonian religion founded by Nimrod and his wife, Semiramis (also called Ishtar). The similarity of the names (Easter and Ishtar) is largely considered a false etymology, so we won’t concern ourselves with that. What matters more is the entire basis of the celebration!

Nimrod? Isn’t that just a name we call silly people?

It’s also the name of a man of great evil. He is mentioned in the book of Genesis:

Nimrod, son of Cush, son of Ham, son of Noah.

Genesis 10: 8-10

8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.
10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

Now, we all know the story of the Tower of Babel. Most of us also know that Babel is another name for Babylon, center of the ancient Babylonian Mysteries, a vile cult which despised God.

In fact, Nimrod was revered as a demigod; following his death, Semiramis deified him as a Sun-God known as Baal. He was also known as Molech. Familiar names?

Molech’s cult demanded human sacrifices. In fact, Molech was so offensive to God, that He commanded the stoning of ANY followers of the Molech cult, whether they were Israelite or no!

Leviticus 20:2

Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

Jeremiah 32:35

And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

Semiramis had a son out of wedlock, and claimed that he (Tammuz) was born of divine intervention, the rebirth of Nimrod! She claimed him to be the Messiah promised by God! Semiramis then set herself up to be worshipped as the Mother of God, Queen of Heaven, Goddess of Fertility.

Sounding familiar yet? On two levels, even. First, the Wabbit:

The rabbit is well known as a sexual symbol of fertility. In various parts of the world, religions which developed from Babel also associate the rabbit with periodicity, both human and lunar (Egypt, China, etc.). As you may remember, the Mother Goddess Semiramis (Easter) is associated with the Moon. In other words, the Easter bunny symbolizes the Mother Goddess. Annual Spring time fertility rituals are associated worship of the Mother Goddess and Tammuz, the reincarnation of her husband Nimrod.

Let us not forget the eggs:

. . . [F]rom Egyptian Belief and Modern Thought, James Bonwick, pp. 211-212: “Eggs were hung up in the Egyptian temples. Bunsen calls attention to the mundane egg, the emblem of generative life, proceeding from the mouth of the great god of Egypt. The mystic egg of Babylon, hatching the Venus Ishtar [Semiramis], fell from heaven to the Euphrates. Dyed eggs were sacred Easter offerings in Egypt, as they are still in China and Europe. Easter, or spring, was the season of birth, terrestrial and celestial.”

More? OK!

The idea of a mystic egg spread from Babylon to many parts of the world. In Rome, the egg was part of the sacred ceremonies of the Mysteries of Bacchus. The Druids used the egg as their sacred emblem. In Northern Europe, China and Japan the eggs were colored for their sacred festivals.

The egg was also a symbol of fertility; Semiramis (Easter) was the goddess of fertility. The Easter egg is a symbol of the pagan Mother Goddess, and it even bears one of her names.

What of the “Queen of Heaven”? That title has fallen to a new mistress, revered by the Catholic Cult. We’ll discuss that another time.

For now: What are you doing to celebrate Christ’s Resurrection? Are you celebrating Passover, as God commanded in the Bible? Or are you taking your children to Satan’s Easter Egg hunt at your “church”? Easter is not one of the Biblically-commanded holy days!

Will your kids be chomping on chocolate eggs and rabbits tomorrow, taking the Devil’s Communion?

  1. Hi you are misinformed person the Catholic Church teaches what Jesus actually said see John chapter 6 you need to get a life and not be brain washed by born again sickos christians who actually tell lies about jesus get a life sicko i will pray for you.

    • So peter, you claim the author is misinformed, but instead of providing examples of misinformation, you use your feeble understanding of English grammar to call the author names, a very popular technique among the grade-school crowd. If you have any swing, you should pray for your own literacy.

The Catholic church *may preach* what Jesus said, but they sure don't follow it. They deserve millstones all around.

      • I'd like to hear Peter's reply to Mr. Green's question . . . Where exactly in John, chapter 6, DOES it say to worship Mary?

  2. Where in John, Chapter 6 does it say to worship Mary?

Did you even read the article, Papist?

  3. Words …words….words….

As a reformed Christian who has come to realise the fallacies taught in the name of Jesus, first by Paul and later by people such as yourself and the Catholics, I do not hold with all these words.

I want to see good deeds and honesty. Historically Jesus gave a different view of his god…a kinder more benevolent view than the one in the old testament. So called christians should be following that view of god…. but let us not forget that the whole of the bible was written by people afraid of the world they saw around them. perhaps they had realised that they could not control it by their sacrifices but they still needed to feel that there was some control somewhere…but there is not! They invented stories of gods and demons and virgin births and miracles all to comfort themselves.

Oh and Mr Green, your foulness towards Peter ( as disillusioned as you ) is one good reason for ignoring so called christian teaching….

Wow! Religion does come up with some super stories! Very entertaining…if it were not for the damage and hatred.

Remember the rich man? Seems that thou and many like you hast gone and done likewise …. kept everything and pretended to follow Jesus!

  4. Magpie -

I’ll respond to each of your four paragraphs.

    1. “Reformed Christian”? So, you ignore the Bible, yet call yourself a Christian? How exactly does it work that there is but one document that is the foundation of Christianity, yet you can ignore it and still call yourself Christian? Why not be intellectually honest and admit that you are a secular humanist or an agnostic, and worship your own imagination?

    2. What you want? What you want doesn’t matter. What God wants is what matters to Christians.

As for who wrote the Bible? Christians follow the Bible, and only the Bible. Have you read it? It’s God’s Word, which He promised to preserve for us. Are you saying God is a liar, and has allowed His Word to become corrupted? Or are you saying He’s so powerless that He can’t even handle control over His copyrighted work?

He created the universe! If He wanted to change any word in every single Bible in the world, He could do so. He hasn’t; therefore, it must be what He wants us to read!

    3. Foulness? I asked him to demonstrate where the Bible says to worship Mary.

    4. Damage and hatred? Where? Christians love everyone. We want them to spend eternity with God. They choose Hell instead. Our warning them of their fate is hatred? I say your telling them lies, that they can ignore the Bible, is hatred. Why do you want so many people to go to Hell?

    5. How are Christians who actually follow the Bible like the rich man who was sad when told to give up his possessions?

    • God not allowing the bible to be altered is bullshit. Have you not heard of cannon and when MEN decided what would go into the bible and what wouldnt, even ignoring other gospels of peter yet including the one they want. God lets humans commit evil acts, even to the bible. He allowed the satanic bible to be created… are you saying he is so weak he couldnt stop it?

The bible is a book witten by man and therefore corrupted by man's evil. If Im wrong why isnt god stopping me from saying so? Your argument is a weak argument. Oh by the way, I am christian but unlike you I dont go against my innate feelings of right vs wrong to follow "man's" book.

      • So, haunted, you make up your own "god" and ignore the Bible, because you don't like what it says . . . yet you say you are a Christian (and don't even bother to capitalize "Christian" or "Bible")!

Are you saying God is so weak, He can't make sure His own Book says what He wants it to say?

  5. I don’t understand why people get upset when others are trying to bring them back to the bible.

Easter is indeed a celebration of the fertility goddess. There are still places today that color eggs with one bright color. Can you guess that color?
Bright RED for the blood of the many babies that was sacrafice to Molech.

Many people celebrate holidays but don’t really understand why. Tradition plays a huge role.

Easter and Christmas are both celebrations of god and goddess. Christ was not even born December 25th. Want to know how they came up with that date? Catholic mainly knew that Easter, Molech, Nimrod, and many of the other gods/goddess birthday is celebrated none other then December 25th. Catholics believed they could conteract some of this negative celebration with a celebration of the birth of christ.
you can find the encyclopedia where it listed these god/goddess birthday.
Christmas trees… not biblical either and why christmas balls on a tree? The real reason will discuss any person and that I will leave for you to research.
Christmas true meaning is not the birth of Christ. For those that love Christ here is what I have to say. If you belive in Him so much observe the holidays he observed. When others were doing Easter he did Passover. If you have a few moments study Passover and come to your own conclusion.

  6. I found this to be quite enlightening.

Of course now I shall need to go and research for myself as I always do. I was raised as a Seventh Day Adventist and though I no longer profess any particular faith, I do still revere the Word of God and study the Bible in my quest to be closer, ever closer to God, the Creator of ALL the UNIVERSE.

I used to think that all of the “Easter” stuff with the eggs, Easter baskets and what-not was just all for fun. I had no idea that the history behind it all was so convoluted and poluted with hidden agenda…darkness…

This makes my heart so heavy…but…

“This…THIS…THIS is the Day the Lord hath made; I shall REJOICE and be glad in IT!”

    Every day is a HolyDay!

    May God BLESS
    & Keep
    YOU…

    -L-

  7. If we are to defend the Bible, we also must not add things to it. Semiramis is not mentioned in the Bible, and in fact, there is no consort of Nimrod alluded to. Semiramis is the name of a real Assyrian queen, who lived a thousand years after Babylon. She reigned over much of Asia and Ethiopia when she served as regent for her son.

Baal, on the other hand, was indeed considered messianic in Canaanite religion. Son of the supreme god El, his father betrayed him and he was reborn as a calf. Here's the thing though- Baal is a Canaanite word that means Lord. It is not the name of a person. In any event, he has no connection to Nimrod.

I was curious where your theory came from, and found it in a book by Alexander Hislop, called The Two Babylons. You should know that bible scholars and historians alike consider this 1853 publication to be fraudulent.

  8. Praise the devil and pass the chocolate!
